Being able to camp right at the put in made the whole rafting trip so easy and enjoyable. Lotus camp is well run. We were very impressed with how well the campground is run and maintained. Camp Lotus is a small campground, right on the American River in a very scenic setting. Large sites, well spaced apart. No gravel pad— just dirt- and ours did require some leveling. Site had a picnic table & fire ring, 30 Amp service & water.
