WebJun 27, 2015 · Mayo Clinic commissioned Dale Chihuly to create these master pieces for the opening of the Gonda Building. The are 13 glass chandeliers that are suspended from the ceiling. The total Mayo sculpture (all 13 pieces) weighs 6000 lbs, spans 45 feet, and comprises 1375 pieces of glass.
